We work with local companies and charities to provide high-quality circus performances and workshops. Strawberry Cirque engage diverse audiences, animating public spaces and community settings. Our collective contributes to local events, festivals, and celebrations with outreach and entertainment.
100% of our profits are reinvested into the circus community in the north of England. This allows us to support children, families, and vulnerable people across the country. We provide ethical and responsible employment opportunities that strive to support local and emerging artists.
About the Founders
Poppy
Poppy believes in the endless possibilities of play. She is a circus performer, theatre maker and instructor. Poppy produces high-quality children’s entertainment programmes and creates immersive acts for family audiences.
Joe
Joe is a skilled and experienced producer and rigger, managing behind the scenes. He is in charge of the technical production of our shows and workshops.
Lucy
Lucy is a skilled hula hooper, bringing nothing but joy and positivity to her shows and workshops. With a background in education and psychology, her work focuses on well-being and community engagement.
